Latest Developments in Variation Research, Reliability, and Weibull Statistics

Self-Study Course on Weibull Analysis

Introduction to Weibull Analysis (with emphasis on Practical Applications). This self-study course provides you with in-depth hand-on experience at using Weibull Methods and reliability techniques with the aid of a personal computer that help you plan, assess, and monitor your reliability programs. The participants of this course will benefit by obtaining the methods to predict population failure data. Predicting potential failures aid in planning warranty costs, design changes, and product or process life cycle costs. These methods can reduce test time and sample size and maintain assurance that the product has an inherent life with a stated confidence. Calculated statistics will also help identify the potential cause of failure; early failures or manufacturing, inherent design failures, or wear-out failures. This information will allow proper allocation or resources for improving activities.

Participants will receive a copy of the course workbook and a copy of our computer software (DRICARS) free on a USB Drive.
